Tasks

  • Greet patients virtually at reception desk, answer phones, schedule appointments

  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls professionally and on time. – Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and file management for Doctor.

  • Update and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Collect and verify patient insurance benefits – Collect necessary patient records and documentation prior to office appointments – Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.

  • Manage patient follow-up care, coordinating with doctors and scheduling necessary appointments.

  • Provide prompt responses to patient inquiries, offering medical advice within the scope of practice.

  • Enter relevant data into medical systems and update patient information as required.

  • Monitor patient progress and assist in tracking and documenting treatment plans.

  • Support doctors and other healthcare professionals, collaborating effectively with the virtual team.

  • Assist in medical billing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing guidelines.

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient information at all times

  • Work with the same client consistently, leading to the development of a long-lasting work relationship.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Provide proof of education or training, such as a degree or certificate in your specialized field (nursing, medical transcription, pharmacy or any other healthcare related field.
  • Fluent speak and write in English. Proficient with medical (Specially medical & Aesthetics) terminologies and practices.
  • Experience work with US based clinics & insurance companies
  • Must have highly proficient computer skills, including use of EMR / EHR, PMS experience – Have strong typing and data entry skills
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work on different time zones
  • A customer service mindset and ability to verify data accuracy.
  • Work from home: Have a quiet work environment and a professional, neutral background with decent lighting (examples will be provided)
  • Internet subscription or speed: At least 20 mbps (DSL/Fiber only)
